Therapy types
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic approach that uses guided relaxation, focused attention and the power of suggestion to help individuals access a heightened state of awareness. In this deeply relaxed state, the mind is more open to positive suggestions, helping clients explore and address underlying issues that may be contributing to emotional, behavioural or psychological challenges.
Hypnotherapy can be effective in supporting a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, phobias, low self-esteem, unwanted habits (such as smoking), sleep difficulties and more. It is a safe, collaborative process where you remain in control and aware at all times, working with me to achieve lasting, positive change.
General
counselling
I will provide a supportive and confidential space where individuals can explore a wide range of personal, emotional or psychological challenges. Whether dealing with stress, relationship issues, anxiety, low mood or life transitions, general counselling offers a non-judgemental environment where clients can talk openly and feel heard. The goal is to empower individuals to better understand themselves and enhance their overall wellbeing.
Grief
counselling
Grief counselling is the area in which I have the most experience, including supporting individuals who are navigating complex grief. Complex grief, sometimes called prolonged or complicated grief, can arise when the grieving process feels overwhelming, persistent or interferes with daily life long after the loss. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can express your emotions, explore the impact of your loss and begin to make sense of your experience. Together, we’ll develop personalised strategies to support your healing, honour your loss and help you move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
My approach
I take a client-centred approach
to counselling, working collaboratively with each person to understand their unique needs, clarify their goals and develop a personalised plan that supports healing and growth. I believe that each individual is the expert of their own experience, and my role is to provide a supportive, non-judgemental space where meaningful change can happen. Together, we explore challenges, build on strengths and work towards lasting, positive transformation.
